Leigh, thanks for the pic's & observations. I've looked at several designs of trikes over the years, but never ridden one, & am unsure how well the width would "fit in" with the roads around here, & after reading your comments on slowness, I don't think a trike is for me at our present location, but I'll be interested to see how you get on after more miles.

Do you read "Velovision" magazine? They have some interesting articles in there. It might be worth approaching them with a write up on your "up-down" conversion.

There was an article in there a while ago from a 99 year old cyclist! So, as a young chap of 62, you've a serious amount of riding to do yet ;-)
