I've mixed cogs from Sram and Shimano, though you may not be able to use the carrier that the larger cogs are mouted to and this may pose problems if they do not have the grooves and splines which fit onto the hub. You will need not only the lock ring for the 13 but the correct 13 to receive the lockring.
the larger cogs will probably work but i tried to use a shimnano 13 on a SRAM cassette and it would not work because the tooth profile was different.
