'Serious' cyclists (i.e. people who don't have another job beyond racing a bike) are training. They are also not likely to want to be 'outed' on a very common forum. It's not necessarily a pride thing, it's not good for them professionally to be talking about their work.
It's kinda like you Charlie....I don't bug you about how to put french fries in a cardboard sleeve.
