My dad did the same thing after he retired. He was a custom home builder and after he retired he started remodeling his home. Once he was finished with that he just about drove my step-mother crazy. When he decided he was going to redo his office for the 3rd time she told him it was time to find something else to do. He also got a job bagging groceries. His supervisor said the little old ladies would flock to his register because he carried their groceries out and put them in their cars
