Group ride saved my butt on Sunday. I was out solo in the morning and the wind started whipping up. I'm about to head into 8mi of direct headwind thinking that this is going hurt and be slow. Just then a group of about 40 riders start passing me at around 25mph, I spin up and fall in and ride the whole wind leg at 25-28mph in the pack, it twas a blessing.
