this is one of those instances that you smack yourself in the head over and over again:

i totally forgot that i was watching these on ebay and i was taking apart the bike with this group on it and the ridiculously over engineered derailleur explodes in a shower of small parts where the mec and the hanger meet and now i have no idea in what order its supposed to be put back together. i plan on reservicing the whole thing anyways but this group is so obscure that i really want to do it correctly.
the bike it came on is a 1978? (at least thats what the seller said) 3rensho time trial. il try to get photos up soon
