tires for indoor/outdoor racing?

ok some of the local renegade alleycat guys have organized an indoor/outdoor race series. the problem is, its supposed to be crazy, like its in an old bourbon distilery/currently a construction warehouse - with cracked floors, holes, wetspots, uneven pavement, likely ice on parts- crazy. there are lots of big bay doors which will likely be opened and we will be riding through some of the other local warehouses as well.

so, what kind of tire would you reccomend? id post in the race forum, but this isnt really your normal race, so i want alot of different opinions...

surfaces range from smooth cement, rough cement, gravelly cement, possibly even dirt. im not going to ride my good bike for fear of wrecks (which are bound to be plentiful), so i need some suggestions for cheaper tires that can handle a lot of different surface conditions.

cross tires perhaps?
