So I have this Hed lenticular carbon disc for my track bike...



and the white paint a friend coated it with just isn't enough. Plus it's kinda pin-holey seeing as the carbon layup had pinholes and without a filler primer it's tough to fill them in. And a filling primer would add a lot of weight to an already 4.5lb wheel. So I'm thinking of putting a design on it. I plan on using contact paper or electrical tape so I can remove it/change it easily. Because it's tape and the wheel is lenticular, the design can't have any really big solid sections or else I'll get ripples. Thinner segments would probably bend enough to avoid creases and wrinkles.

So far I've thought of the hammer & sickle (hey, the handle of the sickle could cover the valve hole.. handy!) and pi symbol, but I'm sure you creative types could do much better. So have at it! Some other info - the frame is a nice high-gloss white with black and silver parts. It's been suggested before, but I don't think I'll do a Pokeball because I'd have to paint it (would unquestionably get wrinkles if the red part takes up half the wheel), and it's just a little too corny.
