I had a raccoon cut in front of me from behind bridge support Thursday night. Stopped my front wheel cold. I didn't stop, at least not until after I hit the ground and rolled. The raccoon got up and ran away. And I was riding a heavy, old Chicago Schwinn, and I'm no lightweight myself. Tough critters.
