I'm going with Luker's estimate of 1983 as the date. The Panasonic has Tange dropouts on the fork, and Shimano on the rear, I think it says Shimano SF, it's hard for these eyes of mine to tell.

The hubs on the Panasonic are Shimano VIA, with a date code of HA, so that supports the 1983 date, too.

I think it's safe to say that it is not identical to the Super Sport. Here is a picture of the seat stays at the seat cluster
