Update on the SS fenders. I added a rear flap made with a thick leather belt from the local Goodwill, matches nicely, looks better & there is enough left to do another bike. We had a couple days of rain recently & I had a chance to do a test. The wide front flap keeps most of the dirty water off my feet & the pedal/BB area. No one was riding behind me so I don't know how effective the rear strip was. I don't know how well the leather would standup to daily rain riding & won't find out with this bike but the belt flap was so easy & cheap I may add some to one of my Winter bikes when I do a rebuild.
