I've put a lot of miles on 28mm Conti Ultra 3000s. They're discontinued but were a really nice tire. Even the cheapo Sport 1000 has been very good to me. I've ridden a bit on Schwalbes and have been very impressed so far. I've been riding some folding Hutchinsons in 28mm that I got on sale at Nashbar a while back. I took them on Bike Virginia and on a day when the support shops fixed literally hundreds of flats, I got out unscathed. Pasela TGs get recommended a lot and while they're light, I've had bad luck with them. Not recommended.
