I've had a polecat bike/ski storage rack for about forever. I got it when in college to hold my bikes and skis in the corner of my dormroom. It now is in the garage to hold 2 of our bikes and both pairs of skis in a small space.

This rack also doesn't put anything permanent on the walls ceiling or floor. It works by pushing against the floor and ceiling to hold it in place.
