Two years ago, after having not been on a bike in a decade, a buddy of mine convinced me that riding the 14 miles to work would be infinitely preferable to the Metro. He was right.
I've got a '98 Klein Pulse Race that has a lot of kit reaching the end of its service life, and I'm building up a Salsa La Raza road frame to replace my old road bike. So I've been getting a lot of use from the forms!
Between bikes and gear, it would have been cheaper to taxi to work - but a hell of a lot less fun.
