I was just wondering which sealed ISO taper bottom brackets have a symmetrical spindle. I'm considering options for track cranks and am trying to assess the cost of going with Sugino 75s. The matching BB has a 109 mm symmetrical spindle but uses loose bearings, which I don't really want to deal with. I know there's the Phil Wood route but I'd like to go cheap if possible.

What I'm wondering in particular is whether any of the Campagnolo 111 mm BBs have symmetrical spindles. Ideally, I'd run something cheap like a Veloce. Secondly, what is the effect of running an asymmetric BB?
