Now that I'm used to riding in the cold and have accumulated all the winter gear I need, we get a warm spell. We're supposed to have record high temps over the next few days, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. I shouldn't complain, but I was actually enjoying riding in the cold. Now I have to reprogram my brain (and body) for riding in different temps. Got out the arm and leg warmers for the ride into work this morning, so I could wear shorts and short-sleeve jersey for the ride home. It was still kind of chilly riding to work this morning despite the high 50 temps due to fog and very high humidity. We don't get much fog here and this was one of my first experiences riding in it. The worst part was my eyeglasses fogging up. The fog was intermittent, so it would lift for a while and my glasses would clear, and then I'd hit another patch that would fog them up again. Also had to be very careful about slick spots on the road due to moisture on manholes, road paint, etc. This crazy weather is supposed to last all week.
