Yep, Iv'e had "GO LANCE" yelled to me lots of times mostly by kids. I ignore anything yelled to me on the bike though because I'm just keeping my eye on the ball (not crashing).

A few weeks ago I was going down a small downhill with the wind at my back when a semi passed me followed by a 4x4 truck with a couple of guys in it. I decided to draft the trucks and the three of us went down the road at 30 mph for about a mile. The guys in the truck I was following gave me a thumbs up after a quater mile, and then after a half mile the passenger stuck his whole upper body out the window to yell and hoot and holler at me cuz I was flying down the road behind them. I turned off after a mile so as far as they knew I could have followed them all day at that pace. If they only knew how easy it was to stay with them with the wind at my back on a downhill, drafting.....
