Um. I've traveled in over 20 countries, backpacked across europe, and camped across the US. I did bike/camp for five days in west texas, including Big Bend.

In any case, my intent in explaining my motivations was merely to provide context, rather than to invite debate about them.

I posted about AC in order to make sure they know what they are doing, and aren't a waste of time. It sounds like several people here have had good experiences, which is exactly what I hoped to hear.
