While there aren't any hills involved, this is about the only thing that keeps me going back to the bike path here in Chicago. I don't begrudge any cyclist that is out riding, as I think that's the most important thing, but I do derive a certain amount of pleasure from quietly smoking CEO's on their lunch break rides on their Pinarellos and DeRosas. Met a pretty cool guy a few weeks ago doing this, actually. He was on one of the higher-end Litespeeds equipped with Campy Record 10-Speed. I said "on your left" as I pulled around him. He looked at me and my bike as I rode past and said, "Go man! Go!" I looked back at him and he had this big grin on his face. Apparently thought it was pretty cool, for whatever reason.
