Has anyone ever tried to bend a front derailler clamp to accomodate a bigger seat tube size? I'm trying to go from a 31.8mm to a 34.9mm tube. This is an FD-4500B Tiagra type.
One time to protect a respray I put handlebar cloth tape under a campag record front clanger and when I tightened it the clamp snapped! That's how precise the size is.
