Only thing is they don't lock the keypad automatically, you have to do it manually, which kind of sucks. I put a sticker on mine!
though I can't figure out what you're doing in SSFG if all you want to do is complain about fixed gears...
Thanks for the info!
Well, i do not want to complain about fixed gears! You guys are fine by me, you ride a bike i ride a bike (a few actually), so we are all good.
What you guys are not understanding is that i was not riding next to him just to be rding next to him, i do not generally ride abreast if i do not need to. I was attempting to pass him when the bus started to merge left. This was not an emergency situation, only slow down move to the left, pass the bus situation. The bike lane in question is a 6-7 ft bike lane, not the typical 3-4 ft lane, and it is flanked by a curb on one side and a travel lane on the other, no need to give space for parked cars. I passed him at a safe distance, there was +3 ft between us. I was not hugging his wheel. There was no need to come to a complete stop to avoid the bus, and that is why i do not understand why he had to fishtail. If he hadn't fishtailed we would have remained +3 ft apart and there wouldn't have been a problem.
I agree that i could have alerted him that i was there, but in this type of bike lane you must expect to have riders behind you, next to you, and so worth. WHy should i have to expect a rider to not have brakes, and therefore not pass because there might be a chance that he needs to stop quickly and fishtail?
