Only a bit? Thats OK. Saddles are different for all riders. I have a couple that have proved fine for me but I have had a problem after surgery to remove the prostate. For 6 years- I was buying a new saddle every month or so as the body adjusted. One I was recommended to get was the San Marco Aero. The cutaway for the tender part is better than most and just a bit of padding on a firm base. The other used to be one of my Favourites and is the Selle Italia- Flite Titanium. Didn't have the Cutaway so went for the Flite Max Gel Flow and this is perfect for me.

I would give around 200 miles on a saddle to get the saddle and butt attuned to each other. Then if it doesn't work out- Down to the LBS while I still have a bit of pain and sit on the saddles on a stool or something like that. You will soon find a saddle that does not hurt if you can still feel the painful one.
