Not sure of the year, but a 5 speed indexed rear will put it in the mid to late 80's, anyway, assuming they are OEM. Antelope 800's were not high end bikes, but they are not junk, either. They are sturdy, reliable riders that will give years of trouble-free service if in good shape and maintained properly. I used to ride a pink 900 to work, and my wife had a nice 800 for a long time.

Very solid, comfortable bikes, IMO.

15 spd with SunTour 3000 front and rear der.
SunTour index control shifters with index/friction feature
Sakae SX cranks with 48/42/28 chainrings
The frame says Made in Taiwan
Chromoly plain gauge MTB frame tubing 800
Brakes had number 981 on them with Changistar brake levers
The wheels are high flange 36h with Araya rims. I can't read the brand of hub.
The front wheel is quick release and the rear wheel is not.

I know this is not a high end bike but it is in pretty good shape.
Since I have an extra set of 26 inch mountain bike wheels I have thought about cold setting the frame to 135 mm but maybe not too. Rich
