Interesting. I have more confidence in CF than I do in casting. I have had some working knowledge of casting mag. All you need is one "void" in the casting to make it useless (unstructural). Before I'd get a cast bike, I'd want to know what kind of QC they were using and if it was anything short of x-raying every one of them, I'd pass. YMMV.
