53 and 73 models have been discontinued. The 54 is the replacement, combining the lower price point with some of the benefits of the higher end model (hollow axle, lighter weight).
As for the OP question, the 110 will work but you'd be better off with a 107 (the 110 has the non-drive crank arm offset 3mm further out).
