I don't recall. I fished them out of the bin, installed them, and sold the bike a couple of days later. Pretty sure they were steel, as I remember taping from close to the stem down to the ends. I only tape that way when there is no contour near the stem to account for the end-of-tape wrap, and that is usually the case with steel bars.

Why - did I unwittingly get rid of something rare and valuable?
