In theory and according to Sheldon Brown, you can interchangeably use ISO and JIS tapers. What has resulted in practice?

For cheap, sealed ISO bb's, it looks like there's the Miche 107 mm (for which I have read rather mixed reviews) or a Campagnolo 111 mm.

Edit: Does anyone know which models of Campy bb's are symmetric and asymmetric? Its says here that Centaur, Veloce and Mirage 111 mm are symmetric. Can anyone confirm?
