I picked up a MTB last weekend to ride in the snow. In my case I chose a low end specialized. A hard rock comp disk.
Nice heavy as heck bike but can take a beating. I do not care much for the low end shock but figure when I break it I can either replace it with something from ebay or put a rigid fork on it.
