Ditto on vintage ride friction downtube shifting. It's the sort of errand/beater/normal clothes bike... off to drinks or dinner, and occasional commuting, my nearly 30 year old Schwinn CroMoly rocks the DTs. Toe clips too... along with a Brooks that I'm not sure I like, but looks spot on
