There is some amount of personal preference in bike fit. They may have been trying to fit the bike for a rider with more fitness, strength, and/or flexibility than you. Maybe as you ride the bike more, you'll be able to develop these qualities and become comfortable in a lower, more aero, riding position. Until then, a taller stem might be appropriate.
Yeah. That's what I figured. I need to work on my core and back strength, though I thought it was pretty good. I can touch my toes and hold for a few seconds, so I'm decently flexible, working on that as well.
I have almost a 1000 miles on the bike so I don't think it's a 'get used to it' thing anymore.
Lets see what happens.
