I would really like to make a project out of building a new mountain bike from the frame up using a '08 Specialized Epic S-Works frame and build it over the frame of a few months, picking out exactly what components I want, but I've never built a bike before, only upgraded things here and there, I've never installed disc brakes, never installed a bottom bracket or headset, and I don't have the special tools to do it... Is there anywhere I can find out where to start on how to build a bike from the ground up? And the tools needed?
