All of our offroad rides can be done as straight out or circular. You just have to know the trails. Only exception is a trip along the South Downs Way as that runs along a ridge. Unless I am only going one way- which entails being dropped off at a point "X" miles away- Then that one is out and back. But the difference is hills that you got 50MPH on the way out- now have to be climbed. I can assure you that on those steep hills- up or down- I am not looking at the scenery. Then there is the fact that the scenery is different out and back.
The rides I do not like are the organised points A to B. That entails that some one has to drop me off at A and collect me at B. That is usually the wife and what is she going to do for 4 hours in say Brighton- except go window shopping- and I can't afford that.
