I love the Mille's and that particular chamois, I would only add that it's worth trying on the Assos bibs before you buy. I have shorter legs and Mille's fit me great but the F1's only come in two sizes for me: too long or too small.

Good luck so far with the mille knickers as well, at first I didn't think knickers would be that much warmer but the roubaix fabric throughout the legs is nice.

If you're looking at Assos gear another nice brand in that price range is Rapha. They use a Nalini chamois and its not thick like the Mille at all, I was afraid I wouldn't like it on longer rides but so far I find it really comfortable. If it helps I wear the same size in a Mille that I do in Rapha bibs/knickers. They only come in black but they are so comfortable.
