When you see snowplows coming at you with their headlights on, the black road is completely covered in white and you're riding a racing bike with 700c tires, it's a problem. These are not conditions you ever plan on riding in. It results from unexpected snow squalls or blizzards that arrive earlier than they were supposed to.
one big difference is that nomadvw isn't allowed to eat (hence the bataan death march look that he's sporting).
you, on the other hand, have easy access to food, and when all else fails, you shake
those hips to stay warm.
