Compared to some of the crap I've found myself riding in, those photos look like a Bermuda travel brochure. When you see snowplows coming at you with their headlights on, the black road is completely covered in white and you're riding a racing bike with 700c tires, it's a problem. These are not conditions you ever plan on riding in. It results from unexpected snow squalls or blizzards that arrive earlier than they were supposed to.
