The SRAM stuff tends to start hanging up in the middle of the cassette when the brifters pukes out on you. You get about halfway down, hit the paddle, you get a CLICK and nothing happens. You have to manually pull the paddle back to get the RD to shift.
I wore out one in about 4000 miles.. SRAM replaced it, no questions asked, in less than a week.
