I have only done about 30 miles which would be to Cle Elum. It is hard pack gravel the grade is from 2% to 4% mostly 2%. This would be from Rattle snake park to the Snoqualmie tunnel after that it levels out. There are two small camp grounds just past Hyak on the trail cost $5.00 the first one you can get water from a stream easier, take a water filter to be safe. There are actually three tunnels you go through before you get to Easton. The first is the Snoqualmie tunnel, have a good light it is 2 miles of dark. The other two are much shorter. There in Cle Elum there is a train depot they have made into a restraunt it is pretty good. That is as far as I have gone on the trail. I hope this might help a little
