I was minding my own business, driving back from getting the tags for my car, and a stop at Shipleys Donuts, when something hit my eyes. A small impromptu thrift store down the street from my house had a bike out front. I tell my wife, "Hey that looks like a Raleigh?" It was indeed a Raleigh. A mid seventies Sprite in pretty good condition. It even has a mini Speedo on it. The mileage on the speedo you ask? 6460 miles, or maybe Kilometers. The owner had brought it with him when he moved to America from Pakistan, or so they said. He must have used it for daily transportation? It also has the very cool flip flop hub. The ladies I found a couple of months ago doesn't have one.,,,,BD


The lady also told me that several people had stopped before me, but wouldn't pay the $20 for it. Cheapskates, lol.




The best part? I now have a matching set!
