I think that three is about as low as you can go, but at 8% I can see areas where I could bring that down slightly more (little bit of belly fat). Looking on wikipedia, it says that 2-5% is critical body fat, were athletes are typically in the 6-13% range, and the leanest of athletes are in the 5-8 range.
