Hi Wingman I did only Yosemite valley last April as well as the Pacific Coast. I had the greatest of times riding from Fresno up to Friant, Fishcamp, brief detour visiting Mariposa grove ( giant sequoias, not to be missed! ) then up to Chinquapin ( 6000ft ) and down the tunnel to Inspiration Point where the all beauty of the Valley is right in front of your eyes. El Capitan, Bridalveil falls, Half Dome...better stop here I am getting emotional!!!
I camped the night in camp 4 and then exited the park heading towards Mariposa. I wish I had more time to do Tioga pass as I heard that is beautiful too but I had too much to see in 10 days! I am not sure if October you could ride that high but the Valley will sure be a great experience in itself! In the morning I also had a brief excursion to Mirror Lake that you can access following a winding bike path from Yosemite Village. I guess getting there after Fresno made it all the nicer as I saw the ugliest and nicest place in this world in only two days!!!

Anyway read my travelogue here

Take care and enjoy it!!!
