Here in MN, we have a winter mountain bike trail at Theodore Wirth Park. They had video of riders on it on the news the other night. It looked great, and terrifying. It gets dark here very early, so they were on these tiny trails with their lights on. The people who ride it go out after every snow and snowshoe the trail. I imagine after our recent January thaw that the trail is like a river of ice. Even in the video, taken before the thaw, people were going about 3 miles an hour and falling all the time!
