Bikes: Steel Avanti Hammer

Thanks geo8rge. I figured as much. I'm not confident to do any non-standard stuff myself, so I was really looking for any supplies of the originals. I really don't think that's going to happen.

I guess I could sell the post to offset the cost of a new Thudbuster. Problem is, the trade in that they offer is that I send the Moxey and get a new Thudbuster for $90. That's about $30 for my Moxey, which is probably at least as good as I'd get on eBay. $90 is still too much for me though.

I've booked in at the lbs for a professional fitting (for my existing bike). I'll see what they say there, but if the post needs to go, it will have to be rigid at this stage.

I'm sure I can re-learn how to "jockey" the bumps. Pity I can't just fix up the old Moxey though. Oh well ...
