a little dry, but eye-opening.

there's another one i couldn't find an image for called "humanity's descent" which is about ecology, according to the book cover. i'm only 3 pages in and i'm already turned off by it. in school, did anyone else ever peer-review other students' papers and think "hey, this person isn't smart, but they're trying so hard to sound smart that they look even worse now?" the book is like that so far.
