Mine zeros automatically whenever it is on and not moving. It's an option to turn of auto zeroing though.

One annoyance I discovered last night: my trackstanding is killing my average cadence. I was kind of disappointed in myself for averaging as low as 78rpm on urban rides (commuting). So last night I displayed cadence just to see what I was doing during the ride.

While trackstanding at a light, it had me at 35rpm!!! I had it set to read hub and pedal for cadence, and it was picking up the hub torque just from trackstanding. I'm pretty smooth in a trackstand, so I guess I was just making minor adjustments every 2s or so. So I displayed torque at the next light, and sure enough, 30-40Nm. There goes the average cadence!

So I'm just working with pedal cadence now

probably. If you look at any of the graphs, and see that they drop to zero at some point, then the torque is zeroed.
