My Giro helmet has holes that seem to just evade the proper seating of the twofish bikeblock despite my attempts to "squeeze" it down. It wants to settle down between the slats of the helmet, but it just too large to actually get seated there, and is also to big to sit directly on the slat. You will probably have to put down padding of some time to keep the flash like from sliding on the slick surface of the helmet, maybe? Double-sided tape? I do not have experience but it seems like that might be a consideration.
I wrapped the lanyard around my helmet also to avoid dropping of the end cap and having to look for it on the ground. The lanyard gets a little wound up and is a pain, but I would rather have that than a lost cap.
