To the OP - always set a reserve, or start the bidding at 80% of what you'd like to get. I once started an auction for an item at $1, expecting to sell for $60 as most others of the same type had. I sold it for $1, and then didn't get feedback from the buyer! lesson learned.....

Worldwide shipping helps too - some of us outside the US really want your stuff, and some of it's looking pretty cheap from our perspective these days! Shipping small bike parts is not too expensive either - the tip about shipping rims vs. wheels is well appreciated! How should they be packed to prevent them getting all bent up?
