I bought a 1000 a couple of years ago as a starter bike because of the price point, and the fact that they stocked a 63cm frame - all the other lbs would have had to order the larger frame. Because I'm a larger rider I like the sturdiness of the 1000 - I'd shred anyting carbon in 5 minutes. I kept the frame and upgraded the gear package and wheels. I love it!
