Unless you are a cardiologist and have given yourself and echocardiogram, it is almost impossible for you to correctly diagnose yourself with mitral valve prolapse.
Again, in the vast majority of people MVP is essentially non-symptomatic. The flu, indigestion, or over-exertion could easily produce the same symptoms as MVP.
