I used to make it with sweetened condensed milk. Gives it much more taste and octane which is good on cold days. Breakfast burritos are one of my favorite hot breakfasts because they taste great and can be whipped together in just a few minutes.

I am around 20% for breakfast, 30% lunch and afternoon snacks, and the rest dinner \ evening snacks.
I think my proportions are out of wack.
My sense is that breakfast needs to be a higher proportion, and both lunch and dinner need to be lower. I typically only get around 400 calories from snacks. I'm not sure what the best ratios are from a health perspective, but since time difference from breakfast to dinner is large and you need fuel for the day, a big breakfast would seem to be a good thing. If lunch is too big, I find myself wanting a siesta.

The gravy sort of works reheated. The problem is the biscuits. I always like to make them fresh. Canned and stale ones just don't taste good. I have done gravy on toast, though. That works OK leftover.
