I do weights and bike when I'm being a good boy and staying in shape.

Not sure if it makes me a better cyclist, but my goal is overall health, as I don't have the athleticism to race in the first place.
I always do legwork immediately after a longer ride, knowing that the next one will be a "recovery" ride which will help recovery from both (and that I have some time to recuperate for the next longer ride). Works for my simple needs.
